🐾 Packing for Alpine Kennels 🐾

Helping your best friend feel right at home while you’re away.

✅ THE ESSENTIALS

  • Individual Meal Bags: Pre-portion food into Ziploc bags (one per meal). This ensures your dog stays on their regular schedule!
  • Vaccination Records: Proof of Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella.
  • Medications: For maximum accuracy and safety, we require all medications to be provided in a clearly labeled daily pill organizer.
  • Emergency Info: Your phone number and a local backup contact.

🏠 COMFORT & CALM

  • Something That Smells Like You: An unwashed T-shirt or pillowcase provides a huge sense of security.
  • A Familiar Bed: If your dog has a favorite (washable) bed or blanket, feel free to bring it.
  • Safe Toys: 1–2 durable toys (Kongs or Nylabones are great). Please avoid toys that are easily shredded.

🛡️ HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Collar & ID Tags: Ensure tags are up-to-date with your current info.
  • Lead/Leash: For safe transitions during check-in and check-out.
  • Flea & Tick Update: Please ensure your pup is current on their preventatives.

💡 QUICK TIPS FOR A HAPPY STAY

  1. Label Everything: Use a permanent marker to put your dog’s name on all belongings.
  2. Special Needs: If your dog has allergies or “quirks” (like being afraid of thunder), please jot them down for our staff!
  3. The Quick Goodbye: Short, happy departures help your dog settle in much faster than long, emotional ones.

Alpine Kennels Adventure by day, comfort by night.
